The way we laminate our boards benefits from strict specifications to achieve more strength with less weight: Climate-controlled laminating rooms to ensure ideal humidity levels for perfect drying (more strength at equal lamination). Vacuum lamination with a drain for excess resin: the fiberglass needs the right amount of resin necessary for its impregnation. The vacuum process allows the resin to penetrate the fiber, and the excess is drained away. Because too much resin means a heavier board, but more importantly, less sturdy as the fiberglass becomes brittle.
