The Type R GT Pro scooter from Root Industries is the ultimate professional-level freestyle scooter. It also features a wide 5-inch deck and high 600 mm bars, providing plenty of space for tricks. The Type R GT comes with innovative features including HMA aluminium bars, Lotus wheels, a GT clamp, Fractal grips, an Air headset, and cold-forged one-piece forks.

The deck of the Type R GT offers a large foot area, minimizing the risk of flyouts. Made from a unique 6061 aerospace aluminium alloy rich in magnesium, the deck is incredibly lightweight while being strong, thanks to its triple channel design. The HMA bars are made from a Hi-Modulus alloy which keeps the lightness of normal aluminium but is 25% stronger. The Lotus wheels are an evolution of the Honeycore wheels, featuring a softer PU compound for better control on smooth surfaces. The Ultra High Rebound Grip PU is optimized for indoor skateparks and smooth concrete, providing speed with extra grip.

The Type R GT is also equipped with our new Fractal grips, designed using AI to create effective grooves that disperse sweat faster, keeping your hands dry and improving grip. The sleek GT clamp reduces the weight of the scooter while providing excellent clamping strength with two high-strength 6 mm bolts.
